Who is behind this blog?

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Shanghai, China, I pursued my Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Toronto before embarking on a dynamic career path. From Ottawa, where I spent over four years refining my skills, to the global tech hub of Silicon Valley, where I flourished as a senior software engineer for a decade, all while being married and welcoming two children into life. Despite the allure of Silicon Valley, my heart yearned to return to Toronto, where I could be surrounded by extended loved ones to raise a family.

Since my return, I've joyfully embraced the role of a stay-at-home mother, finding fulfillment in nurturing my family. Along the way, I've dipped my toes into various ventures, from running a wholesale fashion business to becoming an Ontario Registered Nutritional Health Specialist , and even obtaining a life insurance license while assisting a friend's agency with administrative tasks. Moreover, I've cultivated a diverse range of hobbies including badminton, cycling, skiing, and playing the Chinese Zither. These enjoyable activities have injected my life with year-round energy and excitement.
